When Cooper projected THIS, all you can read are the headlines, which SEEM to support his claim. The hilarious thing is, I had actually READ this article the previous year and recognized it up on the projection screen. I even clipped the article and saved it. Though Cooper INSINUATED that this related to secret underground Russian bases, I KNEW better. Bill Cooper was stringing together unrelated tidbits that only gave the superficial impression of supporting his aligations. This article relates in no way to Area 51, underground bases, flying saucers or captured, bug-eyed aliens. Clearly the man was a fraud. I witnessed a PRIME example of Conspiracy Theorist Mod-us Operandi in action when I attended a talk by the highly acclaimed Bill Cooper. His rambling patchwork quilt of all-encompassing Conspiracy Evils ranged from JFK to UFOs and Area 51. According to Bill, John Kennedy was KILLED because he was about to make the actual findings of Project Blue Book PUBLIC. Not only did The Conspiracy choose to kill him in the middle of a well publicized motorcade through a bustling down town area, not only did they put the Hit Man IN the limo WITH the President... THEY made the DRIVER the hit man, who did the job with a chrome air pistol WHILE he was driving through Dealey Plaza!!! Then Cooper talks about the Faked Moon Landings, the fill light on the photo of Armstrong, and how that was proof of atmospheric light scatter, hence not set in a vacuum, which lead to Area 51, underground bases with UFOs and frozen alien corpses and all THAT. Throughout the talk he projects an endless stream of official LOOKING documents that are completely unreadable. We are expected to BELIEVE they actually have something to do with what he's saying. Then Bill tells us that the Russians have their own Area 51, and he projects the following article:

As I have done in this SubAlbum, they look for compelling images, curious details, strange artifacts that cannot easily be explained... often they just MAKE STUFF UP!!! They string these baubles together on a common thread to suit the flow of their story. When simmered with an academic flair, seasoned with phrases and factoids that confirm one's spotty knowledge of the subject, garnished with official-looking (often unreadable) government documents, and presented with some glittery place settings, they are able to cook-up a savory fare that is sure to delight the pallet of the uninformed seekers of titilating explanations that smooth the waters that churn with troubling, incomprehensible "knowledge" and replace it with a satisfying nursery rhyme that tells them that all those Smart People are BAD and have been CAUGHT IN THE ACT!
